On our way to NIH, stressed & depressed Oct. 26th, 2007 10:17pm
Last week I fell into a terrible 4 day depression. I just checked out for 4 days. With all my years of depression, thats never happened before. However, I believe it was situational with my 11yr old son being evaluated (these evaluations take weeks) for Aspbergers/Tourettes, plus he has LOCAH. I just got overwhelmed with my demented mother-in-law, high anxiety husband & two teenage daughters. I cried & slept for 4 days. I tripled my Dex, but I wonder if that added to my downfall, anyone ever hear of that? Anyway, those horrible chains are off and I'm free!! That cloud is lifted and its amazing!
My girls & I are flying out to NIH next week to complete our participation in the Family Study that we started in April of 2006. I'm glad to offer myself to science, glad to spend some time with my girls and we arranged to have one entire day for sight seeing!!
