I am currently taking 5 mg Prednisone & I just don't think it is working. My labs are back in the normal but the side effects are too much. Of course when I bring up these problems to my doctor, she tells me I should talk to my PCP. Well funny thing, I DIDN'T have these problems till I was diagnosed with LOCAH & prescribed Prednisone. What I need to know is what other meds are available, what side effects, etc.. I want to know from those who actually experience it! Current side effects on Prednisone: Inability to lose weight, weight gain, panic, anxiety, shaking & fatigue. HELP!
