Thanks for your reply. My niece has been to an endocrinologist (has an appt. early next month to discuss results). We are thinking that the dr. may prescribe a lifetime of steroids. This does not sound right to me. So...my niece will seek a second opinion with an acupuncturist/dr. of naturopathy, and see what course of treatement they might recommend.
My thought is that it makes sense to try homeopathic remedies first, and if that fails, then go with what the endo. recommends.
