Thanks for your reply. I think I'm in denial, and just looking for hope that it can be treated naturally. I did not realize that it is a progressive disease and I thank you for that information. I am, however, so worried about a possible lifetime of taking steroids, won't that inhibit my niece's normal growth patterns, in addition to all the other side effects? Any info/comments you may have would be helpful.
