The weight thing is a problem and needs to be approached with as much effort and interest as the primary condition.
I do believe with the proper diet and exercise it can be controlled. It's not easy...but as part of treatment and recovery daily or at least 5 x's per week exercise is necessary, and that means a good old fashioned 1 hour walk on the street or treadmill.
A for food, we all know the saying..."eat a salad" we can't expect to be thin and not gain weight if we're eating the wrong foods. I reccomend classic weight watchers, either the point system or the original. It's very effective and gives you more food than you can eat. Sugar and refined carbohydrates, ie. white flour products are the kiss of death...empty calories and they often make you want to eat more.
