vitamin d deficiency, low bone mineral density...and LOCAH Nov. 1st, 2007 9:09am
I found out that i have a low bone density for my age (at -1.8, which is already osteopenia but luckily not osteoporosis). Now this is not normal for my age as i am only 33. I also had a lab drawn and my Vitamin D levels were at 7 (norm is from 30-70)...so it was VERY low.
Could this all be related to the late-onset CAH? I know that my parathyroid and my calcium levels were normal, i am just suprised that it could be so low without having any other underlying disease other than LOCAH.
