re: Surgery
Nov. 1st, 2007   3:50pm

I have 2 surgeries on dex one in 2004 and one just recently in May. I was fine with the one in 2004, but right after my surgery in may (I was given dex during both surgeries) my endo decided to cut my dex without even drawing blood. This I find out was a big mistake so soon after surgery and I am now still dealing with the symptoms of the disease. I am now seeing a new endo and trying to deal with the side effect.

The one thing I can tell you is advocaate for yourself. I have been called crazy by some doctors who didn't take me seriously and then wrote letters to them when I found out what was wrong with me. I left my last endo when she refused to see me when I started getting sick after she cut my dex, and found someone who would take me seriously and not look at me as crazy.

Hope that helps.

Jess
