Yes that is interesting that your daughter had low vitamin D too. I know of another LOCAH girl that had low Vitamin D levels. I found some other older clinical studies about LOCAH and bone density but the conclusion of it was not enough to prove any relation to LOCAH and low bone density (with or withou being on steroids)......
Did your daughters endo also do a ferritin level and iron levels? Cause mine were low as well and i thought i read somewhere that many girls with either PCOs or LOCAH do have low ferritin levels (not sure how reliable that article on the internet was though).
Is your daughter taking anything for the low Vitamin D? I am taking Vigantol Oil..hoping it'll get that back in order and of course my diet now includes lots of milk and occasional cheese. I probably should supplement with calcium tablets too....
I wonder if all of it together..the LOCAH, low Vitamin D and low ferritin level play a role TOGETHER in my hair loss...or if it is just the androgens?
