I am just so sick of getting the thyroid tests and a 24 hour urine cortisol and being sent on my way. I am mostly fat in my stomache and my arms and legs aren't that bad. I am so tired, I know something is wrong. My thyroid is 8.57, but they said that there was nothing that could be making me fat!
They refused to give me the 17ohp test, because they think I would have cushings, they don't listen to me. I have been to so many doctors and they take my money and Despite spending over $8,000 this year on top of what my insurance has paid, I am no closer to finding an answer.
I want every blood test available for hormones and adrenals, but I don't know what to ask for. I have a lady that works for a doctor who is willing to fax in a lab requisition for me. What should I ask for?
