Proscar isn't scary at all.  You just shouldn't get pregnant while taking it.  Studies have shown it has the least side effects compared with other medicines used to treat hirsutism.   Dianette/Dianne 35 contains 2mg cyproterone acetate so isn't available in the US.  I think it is quite well known and prescribed in Australia and the UK.  I take extra cyproterone acetate because the 2mg wasn't enough and the results were much better.  America has BCP that is used now that has something to do with spironolactone in it.  I can't remember what it is called.  Spironolactone is only used in the US so I have never tried that.  www.hirsutism.com has info on the medications.

It would be great if you could email me the information about sinuses.  I might try using a saline solution.  my email address is

I am not so sure I have LOCAH because I have high cortisol.  I think I probably just have overproducing adrenal glands.   I would love just to be diagnosed with something just so doctors don't think I am a liar!
