I had hirsutism in my late teen and went on Dianette and the Cyproterane acetate as well. After a few years I went off the medications had some more tests. I had a high prolactin. Was retested for prolactin and for cortisol a few times. Both were high. I was also over weight and had oily hair and skin. They tested for PCOS, cushings and pituitary tumours which showed that I didn't have any of that. Went back on medication and Finasteride was also added. Gave up trying to get a diagnosis.
