Hi,
I am a 20 year old female diagnosed with LOCAH and I experienced extreme anxiety as a child into my early teens. When I began to take dex. around 16 yoa I actually found that my anxiety decreased for some time. I also began BCP, then suddenly anxiety got worse as I got older. By the time I was 17 I had to take anti-depressants to control the anxiety levels. I continue with BCP and dex. and the anti-depressants keep my anxiety in check. I think I would have had the anxiety whether or not I took BCP or dex, it is just something that results from having LOCAH or maybe I just have it running in my family. Anyone else have similar way of treating this anxiety?
Does anyone have any good information on weight problems for people with LOCAH?
