The other day I was talking to an adult CAH person who said they wanted to file a class action suit against the manufacturers of corticosteroids for all the suffering and side effects caused.
However when I read a story like this one, it is the incompetent endocrinologists who have stuffed lives around with incorrect diagnosis or excessive doses of corticosteroids who I think are the more irresponsible and should get sued. They should know their stuff better and if they don't - then find out!
Roll on Chronocort! But I guess some endos will even stuff up the dosing of that too.
No offence to you intended at all BCB because we all live and learn, but people have really got to stop believing in the God-like qualities of doctors and start getting all their results and taking positive steps to understand what is going on, even if it is outside of their comfort zone! I know it is not easy as these doctors can sometimes be so intimidating!
