Unless you and your partner both carry the specific genes for CLASSICAL (not NCAH)you should NOT be on Dex during pregnancy. Did you have DNA testing for the presence of classical genes before you became pregnant? Dex crosses the placenta and some researchers have indicated that it might have effects on the children treated. Would either of you who were on dex during pregnancy call me? I would like to talk to you about this.
A major (very reputable) newspaper is doing a story about the of dex during pregnancy based on inaccurate genetic information. Unfortunately, New Mother--you are one the those people based on your short description.
