No one feels sicker than I do about what happened to my daughter, if I only knew then what I know now. I went to an attorney to file a suit against the doctor but he wouldn't take the case, he said it would be hard to prove damages and I didn't have enough money to pursue it further. The odds are stacked against us when it comes to sueing doctors. Intelligent medical care in this country is a big fat joke! Hey, I'd be all for a class action suit against the drug companies, even though you are right, the doctor should be the one to get sued. I don't know what the bleep they teach in medical school but this guy had a PhD in endocrinology!
