re: LOCAH- Mood and Fatigue Apr. 11th, 2008 3:02pm
I'm 48yrs old with LOCAH and my 3 children have it as well. My 18yr old really suffers from fatigue and well as myself. Its terrible!! More sleep doesn't help, less sleep, Dex, off Dex. I don't know what helps. Now my daughter is on Adderall to help her fatigue, she does not have ADD. It helps for about 4 hours, then she could go right back to bed. The doc may try a thyroid medication which sounds freaky and desperate, but we are desperate! She is going to college in the fall and I am blessed to not work outside of our home. I feel bad for my husband and other children and its hard not to get depressed more than I already am being so tired. I can tell I am pull through the day easier when the temps are warmer and the sun is shining!! The only thing I haven't tried is consistent exercise, which I gearing myself up to do!!! Hey, if you don't do that, maybe we can do that together!!
