Anonymous! This information is very interesting and I will be trying to find out as much as I can. I have been very unwell since July 2007 with an exacerbation of nearly all the symptoms you mention.
I do not believe that we have a focus of moulds in our house though. No damp spots and no mould smells. However I do always notice a strong mould odour in my sister's house when I visit and have mentioned this very subtly to her from time to time over the years, but she seems oblivious to it.
I have been to see neurologists in the last eight months for neurological symptoms and they have been of no help whatsoever. I have been seriously considering seeing a doctor who specialises in CFIDS/ME and Fibromyalgia because of the closeness in my symptoms to these conditions.
This gives me another line to pursue. Unfortunately one has to advocate for their own health issues as no-one looks much outside the box!
M1. Yes I also have earplugs in a small container in my bedside drawer and use them very frequently to help me fall asleep and always take them away with me when I'm away from home - even in hospital! The nurses have come up to my bed and I can't hear what they're saying - lol - and quickly pull them out!
