Although 8 nmol/L for testosterone is very high as are your Dhea-s at 14.1 umol/L they are not usually the defining test for CAH - 17-ohp is! Your unstimulated level of 17-ohp was reasonably normal. So unless there is something else your doctor is taking into consideration (are you the person who has a SWCAH relative?) I'm not quite sure why he diagnosed LOCAH.....That's why, in your case, I think it is necessary to do an ACTH stimulation test.....and test the cortisol response at the same time as checking the 17-ohp response.
I have classical CAH so was diagnosed many years ago as a very young child but I enjoy coming onto the locah board because it is mostly adults!
