The prednisone 5 mg a day actually reduced my swelling. I had pitting edema from my knees down. My hands sometimes get tight and my around my eyes. Now instead of daily I have micro flares. I am not sure if this is from the CAH. It has approved with the prednisone. MY 21 oh levels are still quite high so I am starting 6.125 mg of prednisone today.
How long have you been on the prednisone and alsactone?
