I have LOCAH and my endo gave me Metformin to help my blood sugar process better because I'm pre-diabetic as well. When I was taking .05mg of Dex and 2000mg of Met my weight started melting off. That is a relatively high dose of Dex so since I'm pre-diabetic my doc really did not like me being on that dose and advised me to go down so now I'm only on 1/2 of that dose of Met and the weight is not budging. This is my case, however I have heard people using Met for LOCAH. It depends on your blood levels, your symptoms and your doc.
