The weight is tricky because you have to eat well. I was hungry more often but I made good food choices. I lost weight when I was on a higher dose of Dex & Met, but is my body and not everyone is the same. Plus my endo did not like me on that high dose, even though I lost weight because of the other health risks of higher doses of Dex.
Definitely, steriods help with acne & hair. You are on the right track. With LOCAH, your adrenals do not make enough of a steriod. Dex is a steriod so you are replacing the steriod. The problem comes in because your adrenals make a different amount different times during the night & day. There is no way we can manually put in the correct amount our bodies need night & day. Sometimes we are over medicating, somes we are under medicating, sometimes we get it just right. Its difficult.
