Hi Natalie, Provigil is used for sleep disorders. I have a friend with narcolepsy who takes it. It is very expensive, so it would probably not be an option for someone who doesn't have insurance. Interestingly, my daughter tried it for her fatigue, but she didn't think that it helped her. Her dr tried her on several things that are used for Chronic Fatigue patients, and the only one that she felt like helped and she is still taking is Florinef. A lot of people with CFS have low blood pressure problems, apparently. She still feels tired all the time, but I noticed that when she stopped taking the Florinef, she was REALLY tired, and also had a near fainting spell, so she went back on it.
