hi there, I was told by my doctor that it is always possible for nerve damage to the clitoris during a hystorectomy, not sure if it's just the ones that are done vaginally. Mine was. Something about what they use to hold it open, clamps and whatnot. So needless to say I was in a hurry to find out if everything still worked properly.....it did, thank goodness.

 Well Megan, that is just awful! I'm sorry to hear that. Do you think it has something to do with not having the actually uterus anymore? Were your ovaries removed too? Maybe hormones have something to do with it?
