Good point, but it's not bleeding after intercourse which is what I had when I had type/class 4 dysplasia before or whatever. It's definitely uterine as it's really heavy at times... like heavy period flow, 1 pad and hour type situation. Other times it's light, sometimes spotting. And there's lots of pain and cramping all the way to my back. I've never been pregnant but this is what i would imagine braxtonhicks to be. i period cramp constantly, but the bad pain has an onset, a peak, and a decline and it's not just pain i feel the spasms and it makes me sick to my stomach. i have to go into knee chest position wherever i am when it comes. ultrasound came back fine so no fibroids and no incomplete miscarriage.
Saw gyn again, asked for pap but she said no cuz she wants to schedule a D&C to take a look at what's going on inside and test my cells. If everything ok there, then a laparoscopy next. In the mean time she wanted to give me a shot of Lupron but it's gonna take a week for my insurance company to mail it to me cuz they outsource injectables. :p So she switched my birthcontrol again just when it was starting to work. Told me it was too much to take loestrin every 6 hours so put me on femcon daily. just started it today and the pain is back to full force and bleeding is coming on.
Again, it's not the problem of getting a 2nd opinion. It's finding one that's gonna be a more experienced opinion than the first and in a timely manner considering the complications here. In trying to get a timely appt, what usually happens is they ask why i need one so soon and when i tell them what's going on they take my info and go talk to the doc. Then later i get a return call referring me to U.M. It's a frustrating cycle.
I had been trying for 2.5 weeks to get a callback for UM and I work for their affiliated hospital, so trust me... it's not just a one time thing. Finally today I got an appt with a reproductive endocrinologist there. Keeping my fingers crossed until the 29th.
