I seen this show on tv and I flipped out cause the story sounded like mine. Problem is that, I can get my doctor to take me seriously. I don't have the money to go see doctors that are a long way from my house or to pay the copays on alot of visits. So I'm just going to list what I've been through & hope somebody can help me. Starting from childhood til now: puberty started at 10 yrs old, thick hair on my legs and arms only, I had B cup breasts (seemed like an overnight change) by 5th and 6th grade, family notices that I had a "husky" build but chalked up to my being a tom-boy, heavy-bleeding & cramps, lots of acne that cleared some at 14-15, at age 18(nov 1999)weighing 130-135lbs 5' 4"; started on the Depo-birthcontrol shots because I got married & by May of 2000 had gained 50lbs & developed a buffalo hump that people noticed but thought it was just a "fat thing", my weight continued up to 230lbs in 2003 when I got pregnant w/my 1st child (I didn't gain a single pound the entire time because of "all-day"sickness) found out I was Rh Negative, in 2005 after the birth of my 2nd child (again no weight gain) my weight climbed to almost 27olbs; when an ENDO doctor told me I had PCOS & Insulin Resistance but after taking 500mg Metaformin 2x daily my testerone level stayed high later it was doubled by a regular doctor and I didn't feel like getting out of bed nevermind the 3 miles daily she wanted me to do to "lose the weight" so she put me on avandia for a short time then Actos that hasn't lower my free insulin level or testerone level , Jan. of 2008 started 20mg Adderall 3x daily for ADD, I'm now down from 268lbs to 238lbs (30lbs in 5mos) which is great but my periods are heavy & clotty, I'm having problems with bladder leakage & having to go pee like twice an hour or more, and I have unexplained swelling in my feet, legs, and hands that I've had since age 16 that seems to clear up some in the winter. I know all this sounds crazy but I'm afraid if I don't figure out what is/if anything, wrong with me that when it gets found it will be to late to avoid serious medical problems or death.
