I had another test where my cortisol was a little bit low (under normal). The thing is when I am on diane35 (contraceptive pill) my cortisol is high. That's why I thought maybe I don't need to have dexametasone, because if on the pill the cortisol is high (upper normal ) with dexametasone would be very high.
I am worried about weight gain with dexametasone. With the pill and finasteride I have swollen face. I have find out that this is because of the estrogens. When you take finasteride, androgens (testosterone) is converted to more estrogens. I also have liquid retentions, for this I'm taking green tea, is working a little bit, also with my swollen face. When I take grenn tea pills, my face is much better. That's why I am scared of having dexametasone.
Regarding cortisol & 17 OH, I have read that there are many cases where people with locah have normal cortisol levels but high 17OH, that's why I am going to visit a new endo. He is supposed to be a very good one. I hope so. I'm also going to the gynecologist because I have been diagnosed that I have a small uterine myoma. I have also read that myomas are estrogen dependent.
This is like a nightmare, my hormones are a mess. If I arrange one, another is spoilt.
