Slightly elevated DHEA
Jun. 24th, 2008   10:12pm

I have had two tests in two years and one time my DHEA-S  and ATCH being elevated. The DHEA-S was 403 and I can't remember the ATCH but it was just a little high. I went and had my bloodwork redone and my ATCH is normal but the DHEA-S is now 502. My vitamin D was low too. I've been suffering from extreme depression, anxiety and OCD for 2 years. It all seems to rotate around my periods. I'm nervous I have an adrenal tumor (I'm 31, had two kids) but my doctor mentioned LOCAH. I knew very little about this. I'm doing research online in circles. The ONLY test for me bloodwork wise (I get a ultrasound done thurs) that is off is the DHEA. I would assume a tumor would make it higher than 503. I just feel scared. Could I have LOCAH? Any advice is apprecated.

Beth
