Actually, if you read up on the PCOS boards, being on birth control pills is really nothing but trouble. Birth control doesn't treat the problem, it masks the effects. That's why you saw nothing while you were on it, but the moment you got off of it, the effects just flared up.
There are a lot of women who are knowledgeable about both PCOS and LOCAH on these boards. They've been through it all with medications. So they can offer very sound advice if needed.
