re: Any CAHer have any surgery with slow recovery?
Jan. 19th, 2008   8:02pm

Lynn, my daughter has had a number of orthopaedic surgeries over the years and she always takes much longer to heal and has had complications.  Last spring/summer her would kept opening up, oozing, etc. and finally they had to go in and open it up surgically, clean it out, and leave it open to heal.  We packed it with gauze for weeks/months.  Finally it closed up, but it has tried to open since then.  Her last surgery was 12/17 and she is having a hard time with that one.  Of course, her endo says her levels are perfect and the meds don't have anything to do with her healing.  I don't believe it.
