re: re: re: After-birth experiences

I have 2 daughters with SWCAH and one without.  I actually used as liquid suspension made up by the pharmacist to give meds as I found the tablet left too much residue in the syringe as they do not dissolve well.  The florinef however can be given by syringe as it dissolves easily.  To be honest with you i found breastfeeding to be more difficult with my daughters with cah, but I did not realise this until i had a child without it.  The first cannot be compared as diagnosis was not made until 2 weeks and the trauma seriously affected my milk flow.  With the second it was easier however I used formula to put the sodium in as I found it too much to express a few bottles a day.  I fed both girls for about 7 months.   Apart from increasing their meds when ill with a temperature I have not found much difference with the cah.  Hope all goes well with the birth
