Congrats on the upcoming birth of your baby!!  Be assured that CAH will become very "normal" to you in no time.  It takes awhile to process it whether you know ahead of time or not.  I have a 2 year old SWCAH son.  He was diagnosed at 2 weeks old and has been on cortef and florinef since then.  I have always (and still do) dissolve his meds in a syringe with water and give it to him every 8 hours.  I nursed him until he was 9 months old.  I never put the meds in a bottle - just in case he didn't drink it all.  Now he eats regular food, so we don't have so supplement with salt, but he does ask for salt now and then - And we just let him have some.

He is a very happy and healthy boy.  He does everything or more than others his age.

Good luck with your delivery and best wishes!

Ty
