Hi everyone! I am a 23 yr. old guy living with SWCAH. I was diagnosed at birth. When I came across this site last year, I had no idea that there was this many people just like me! I honestly thought that I was the only person in the world with this condition! It has been a long time since I have visited this site.
I have been blessed with great health throughout my whole life. I have never let having CAH slow me down in anyway. As I read through these posts again tonight, I can honestly say that it saddens me to see so many people struggling with this condition. I don't know if it will help but I would be happy to answer any questions that I can, that anyone might have. Like I said before, I have had very little, if no real, problems with having this condition. I just graduated college this last May, I played sports all through my childhood. I do all the things that my 'normal' friends do, without really thinking twice about it. I feel that since I have been so blessed in my life that I need to try to help/encourage as many people as I can. In my teens, I am sad to say, I was actually ashamed of the condition. There was no need for me to feel this way, and there is no reason for anyone else to feel that way. Please feel free to email, jsn122@yahoo.com Or post here, that way others may benefit from our discussions! Thanks again, I am sorry that this is ssoo long!
