re: Hard time dealing with baby's CAH
Jan. 29th, 2008   11:34am
Hello Carly-I remeber feeling the way you did when my daughter was born.  My daughter is now 11 with SWCAH.  First-congrats on the birth of your daughter!  This is a time to enjoy and you can still do that even though you are learning about CAH.  Definitely coming to this board is helpful.  You can also go to the Cares website and Magic Foundation website for support.  Try to find support in a friend or family member and then also make sure you do those fun things with baby-join a mother's group or see if your library has a mommy and baby group.  Being a first time mom can be hard, let alone dealing with a medical condition too.  Just know you will get through this and you will learn what you need as you go along.  My email is pbabcock4@optonline.net if you need to talk more!
Pamela
