Neesie, I think you should wait until the test results come back on Nolan before you try to get in touch with his father. It is most likely that his father is not a carrier so I think it's probably better to just wait until you know for sure whether he has locah.
Also, although Nolan probably does not have cah, he is a carrier. This would be important for him and his future partner to know if they plan to have children.
