I don't think you're getting any 'real' answers is because one situation will never be exactly as another. People are different, even though they may all have swcah, their bodies are still different, that's why some people are on large doses and some are on small. You're not going to find 'you will die 14 days, 5 hours, and 10 minutes after stopping medication.
My dd was diagnosed with cah shortly after birth. She was sent home with the liquid cortef and believed not to be a salt waster. About a week later we took her to the ER because she was very lethargic and dehydrated. We were told she was in severe adrenal crisis...possibly because of the liquid cortef or because now they knew she was a salt waster and hadn't been treated for that. Who knows how much longer she would've made it, she was in pretty bad shape.
