re: re: Giving Meds to Infant

That's how I gave my daughter her meds when she was a baby.  When she got a little older we mixed it with apple juice.  Often the night time dose was given when she was asleep, we would put the syringe in her mouth and she would swallow in her sleep without a fuss!  She was swallowing pills by age 2 with no problems.  Some people have written that their kids chewed the pills but we never did that.  If you have problems getting your baby to take meds you will get plenty of ideas here!
