re: re: re: re: to kp and diana Feb. 1st, 2008 7:37pm
thank you for your responses. to kp yeah the doctor never did tell me the high blood pressure was related to this i just assumed it was all relating. to diana and kp she is on florinef and they have reduced it to the lowest possible which her high blood pressure doctor thinks she should not be on florinef at all but her endo does not agree with that. i live in fbks alaska and my endo travels to anchorage from seattle so i made a appt with them next week and i am going to have all the tests that we have done in the last year so she can explain to me. my guestion is going to be is she really a salt waster because so far when i say she has to be a salt waster because she has spent so much time in the hospital for adrenal crisises but the doctors say that has nothing to do with the florinef so i am so confused. the blood pressure issue before i found out she had spent 4 days in the hospital for adrenal crisis and they said nothing about high blood pressure but when i looked at her records it was 170 something over something(sorry don't have that on me right now) well i went to see her surgion a week later in anchorage and he took her blood pressure and it was 190something so she was admitted right away for a week in icu untill they got it under control. she still has high blood pressure so we just changed the meds again to see if it will help so we are still trying to figure it out. the tumers were just found because he has been running test to find out why her blood pressure cant be controlled. when i see all of her doctors next week i hope to be able to know more. what is so confusing is all the people on this board don't seem to be having so many problems like my daughter which makes me question her care but when i talked to one doctor last year he said she is on the severe end of the condition so i don't know. my daughter has been in the hospital just this past year about 10 times if not more just for the adrenal crisis which don't get me wrong something always starts it like a bug or infection with she has been having problems with her bladder. anyways sorry for talking so much thank you so much for your responses and if you have anything else please share
