re: re: Chicken pox vaccine, SWCAH and steroids

We also vaccinated our daughter at a slower pace not because of CAH but because of research. In Europe (and the International Conference on Vaccines, you can google it. It was in Mothering Magazine) they wait to vaccinate until 6 months and recommend giving one at a time (and separating the ones that are given in a single shot.) Doctors give them at the well baby visits for convenience and compliance reasons. My daughter is vaccinated but she didn't need the chickenpox one as she has had a bad case of chickenpox. She had a fever once for one but I can't remember which one. By the way, a cold is caused by a virus. Julia
