re: Introducing myself

Hi Hannele! (did I spell that right?) Welcome to the board! I'm Neesie (short for Denise), live in the Southern United States, and have SWCAH. Can't answer your questions about dex because I take cortef & florinef;I did, however, have a--shall we say, not very good--endo put me on dex once and it almost killed me! Different meds for different people, I guess. You will find lots of information here. I certainly have. I've learned a lot and have talked w/some very interesting people. I have a 4 yr old son (when I had been told all my life I couldn't get pregnant) who has to be tested soon for LOCAH. It's precautionary but I'm very nervous about it. The best thing you can do is talk to your endocrinologist. Also get opinions from dex users on this board...I'm sure plenty of women out there in cyberspace will be glad to help you.

Once again, welcome!

neesie
