My son had the vaccine at the normal time. But he got a VERY mild case of a few spots and maybe a very low fever.  I and my doctor were glad for this reaction as he is now better protected against chicken pox. Chicken pox with the high fever an lasting awhile even in a 'normal' kid would be really hard for a CAH child.  My son is now 3 he had the flu shot early in the season.  I forgot to get mine and ended up with the awful flu as did my mom.  My vaccinated little guy watched us be sick over a week and never got sick himself, thankfully.

I like acupuncture, don't use it as often as I like because of expense. I have had pediatriac acu-stim (acupuncture for babies without needles) done on my son same days as vaccines to have it cycle through the system quicker.
