I know from my own experience that I thought CAH was enough but I dealt with other things 2 like chemo and radiation a couple of years ago plus 3 other conditions.
The thing that I tried to do was vision that it was me and CAH against the other conditons. This way of thinking really did make a difference in that hey I was born with CAH and anything else was just cake (even though it wasn't but this helped for the most part from being scared out of my mind...most days)
Yes, it might take her a little while longer to recover but maybe not : ) I can't deal well with a cold at times either but did pretty ok thru cancer treatmeant. They will double her dose of cortisone and that will make the difference.
