re: Blood pressure !

What dose of florinef is she on? What are her renin and sodium levels? Does she take salt, or do you just salt her food? And what are her 17OHP/androstenedione levels? What is her cortef dose and dosing times?

Our endo told us that children are often on higher florinef doses at birth, and as they get older (usually starting around the age of two), they often don't need as much and the dosage can be lowered. My daughter's florinef dose was lowered from .15mg to .1mg (given at night) about six months ago (when she was 11 months old), though, because her potassium was low a couple times and renin was very low. He also cut her salt supplementation (we were just told to salt her foods). Now, her renin is a bit high and sodium a touch low (after a blood test a couple weeks ago), so I'm just salting her foods more. It's all such a balancing act...but sure sounds like an endo issue to me!
