i am going through the same thing with my daughter who is two. she is on two blood pressure meds that i see a doctor for who has been trying to figure out why her blood pressure is so high. she spent a week in icu becuase of her high blood pressure. her high blood pressure doctor kept telling me she had no renin level so he reduced her florinef and for some reason my endo keeps trying to fight me on it. i just had a appt with her endo and she was so rude and would not discuss all the labs and test that the other dr took who said we need to reduce the florinef. well i am listening to the other dr who just took more labs and they were perfect now the he reduced the florinef. well her blood pressure is still a issue and he never said it was all the florinef he just said that after doing all the test that we need to adjust her meds. now he did a 24hour urine and something came out high that could be a tumer so now i have to fly out to have a nuclear test done on her. i have a nurse case manager with my insurance who sets up all my travel because my daughter has been in the hospital so much and i told her how my visit went with the endo and she called a endo in seattle who wants me to take her to see him because he agreed that the endo i have been seeing has been blowing allot of stuff off. anyways thats my story and the reason she was in the icu is because my doctors kept ignoring her blood pressure and i never asked i just let the doctors do there thing and we had went to see her urioligist and her blood pressure was 190 over something i cant remember anyways they were shocked she was not sicker than she was. when i went back to look at her records because she was in the hospital for 4 days a week before that and they have documented it was high but i guess they did not think it was important. i am just glad it was time to travel and see her urioligist or who knows what would of happened. well anyways i am just going on and on sorry. i have no bad words for doctors i am just also frustrated with my endo because she has ignored allot but my other doctors have been great i would just think my endo would be the one we need to count on for our kids health.
