re: Adding salt to bottles
Mar. 9th, 2008   5:55pm
We never had success with adding salt to the bottles - all it did was make my oldest son hate to feed .... NOT good!

What we did instead (at the advice of a new endo) was mix a super-satuarated solution of salt and distilled water - about 3 mls. We'd give her 1ml of this solution every 8 hrs or so; she hated it - spit and gagged, BUT .... I'd put her to the breast right away, and she would eat, forgetting the salt pretty quickly. Actually, after a while, the salt solution didn't really bother her much, either.

Good luck!
