we also had no trouble with adding salt to bottles its like most things thay take time but 11yrs later the good news is my daughters both add salt to thier bottled water that they take to school and dont even think twice, they know that it makes a difference to how they feel at the end of the day be patient and keep giving it to them we know it works oh when the girls friends ask why there putting salt in there water they tell them why "we dont make salt so we have to add it to things"and there friends are happy with that.
