I have a mild case of CAH and currently am taking 5mg a day of prednisone. I have noticed some facial hair growth of that 'area' in the past two years. I have spoken with my Endroconologist over the years and she not once checked me out. (Only my blood levels) I now have a new doctor who looked at me and I will be seeing him this Friday to talk about my blood tests. He said that indeed my prednisone may need to be upped. I want to have kids one day, and my period is VERY irregular! I had four periods in January (very heavey too, not normal for me. Also very emotional with the periods, and my breasts are enlarging. I am not pregnant, I checked!) and many periods thru out the months to follow. I wondered if anyone has had this? I feel alone with having CAH, and people don't understand. I would appreciate any feed back you may have. Thank you :o)
