We were told by both of our endos that taking steroids leaches calcium from your body, so that CAH kids need more calcium. Our daughter drinks milk like it's going out of style, and loves all dairy products, so we've never given her any calcium supplements. We have had her bone density tested (it was fine) and plan to do it again periodically.
