We have all asked this same question. Unfortunatley they can't. They said the gland is too "mushy" to put in laymens terms. Not viable enough. Sort of like trying to sew a kleenux to toilet paper. It just wouldn't work well. PLUS, even if they could, your child would still be taking meds the rest of their lives because transplants require the patient to take anti rejections medicine for life.
