The bone age test is like I wrote before and it is something that we with CAH have sooner or later but always someone that might never have this.
I'm going to guess here that you were reading about the couragous lady that wrote about her son w/cah that has the troubling side effects because of advanced bone age. That post effected me as well and came with it yet again the realization of the difficulties that some of us with CAH do face. All she wanted for him at the time of posting was that he gotto play with dolphims and I hope that he got that wish.
You have to let your daughters Endo play his hand or bag of tricks out - if it gets to a point then there is a drug that they use effectivly from waht parents say that will ward off advance bone age and precoucious puberty (it's called lupron) but first let her Doc get this bone test done and then another or maybe adjust med or maybe wait a bit - whatever his plan is. They have tons of prior cases to help them copare and do the best for your child.
