Hi there!!! My Daughter had surgery with Dr. Rink. Since he is very busy I had to wait 6 months but it was well worth the wait. I too did lots of research on Docs. I wanted the best. I was very blessed that my Insurance considered him as innetwork. His assistant is Trina. She is more than happy to talk and answer any questions. I was simply amazed at how quickly my little one recovered. Not even 24 hours later she was up and kicking her legs. Dr. Rink is one of the most caring and patient Docs I have ever met. His bedside manner is second to none. He was very patient with me and my questions. He explained everything and drew pictures so I could understand. What I would recomend you do is get a binder just for your daughter and write down each and every question you have. I put in the CD that CARES provided me. (The one seminar they had taped where DR. Poppas was discussing the procedure) I wrote down different questions I had. All in all I had about 30 questions. When I sat with Dr. Rink I asked each and every question. Dr. Rink was not in a rush and gave me lots of time. Truly that man is heaven sent.
The ohter Doc that many recomend is Dr. Poppas. I do not know too much about him. But I do know that he is also as experienced as Dr. Rink. Definently call Cares and speak with KElly Light. You can discuss things with her and see what she has to say.
